Joya de Nicaragua is expanding its offerings this month with the U.S. launch of Joya Red Half Corona and the grand opening of its new flagship store located at the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua, Nicaragua.
The new location, which opened on February 1, not only provides a place to purchase cigars, but also offers an interactive visual experience for customers interested in learning how cigars are made. Inside the store, there are several televisions demonstrating what Joya de Nicaragua calls "the seven stages to creating premium cigars" and a tabletop display explaining the different varieties of tobacco and their characteristics. Tobacco leaves are hung from the ceiling to resemble a drying barn, further enhancing the visual experience.
The store will focus primarily on Joya de Nicaragua products, including exclusive duty-free packs, such as smaller packs of three or six cigars that will only be available at the flagship location.
However, smoking is prohibited on the premises.
Joya de Nicaragua has announced the arrival in the U.S. of the Joya Red Half Corona, a 3 3/4" by 46" ring size that was originally only available on the europa
