Our factory is located in Tamboril, Santiago in the Dominican Republic. Tamboril is home to the biggest names and top rollers in the cigar industry. Despite its small size, Tamboril is often referred to as the "cigar capital of the world" because it is the epicenter of cigar manufacturing, housing more factories than anywhere else.
DBL by Francisco Almonte uses high-quality tobacco sourced from top-rated farms around the world, including the Dominican Republic, Peru, Brazil, Nicaragua, Mexico and Ecuador.
Each of our tobacco leaves goes through rigorous curing and fermentation processes that give our tobacco the exact flavors we strive for. Our rollers are unsurpassed. Each has decades of experience, giving them the ability to craft the finest traditional cigars as well as those with unique shapes and sizes - all while maintaining the perfect draw.
